みんなは笑うかも知れないけれども、
わたしには出来ないことがある。
傘が無くても、
駆け抜けていけばいいような雨だというのに、
短い通り雨で済むかも知れないけれども、
わたしの胸は
大嵐の中に取り残されたような思いです。

少し窓を開けて、
わたしは通りの様子を伺っています。
窓辺からは、
庭先の木の枝に雨の雫が光っているのが分かります。

そして、
窓の隙間から通りの車の音が聞こえるほどのところで、
あなたの迎えを待っている。
雨の日は、
じっとあなたの迎えを待っている。

窓からの光で、
パソコンの画面に映っているあなたの言葉を読んでいる。
つい、
あなたの名前を口にしてしまいそうです。
